Genesis Pfeifer, CPA, MBA

Genesis Pfeifer is a Manager in the Assurance Services division with more than 10 years of accounting and auditing experience. She provides audit and assurance services to a diverse client base, with particular emphasis on employee benefit plans.

Genesis has extensive experience leading audit engagements and preparing financial statements in accordance with U.S. generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and the Department of Labor's Rules and Regulations for Reporting and Disclosure under the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974 (ERISA). Her employee benefit plan expertise is in defined contribution plans ranging from straightforward single-location organizations to more complex plans sponsored by multi-location employers, helping clients navigate intricate reporting and compliance requirements.

Genesis is an active Certified Public Accountant and a member of both the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Missouri Society of Certified Public Accountants (MOCPA). She previously served as Chair of the MOCPA Community Outreach Task Force, reflecting her commitment to professional leadership and community engagement. Through her involvement with these organizations, she stays current on emerging accounting standards, regulatory developments, and industry trends impacting employee benefit plans and the assurance profession.
